Event on week-ends

I seem to be unable to create an event on weekend days. Such events get automatically the Fridays prececeeding date. Is this normal behaviour or did I miss a trick?

Maybe a time zone thing?

You enter Saturday & Sunday (full days) so the system records that it starts at midnight and one minute. Because of a time zone difference, the event looks like it starts a few hours earlier, thus, Friday.

Try having your event Saturday 9am and see if problem persists.

Best regards,

M ;-)

You could be right as it systematically allocated the day prior to the one I selected. This however occured only when using JQuery for date selection and only if the event was not a recuring one.
There are other pblms related to calendars - the weekly display seems to be confused as to what to show - there could be some conflict regarding the week start (monday or sunday) but I have not yet detected what it is.
Thanks for your answer.

I'm also experiencing an apparent bug in Tiki 7: If I set an event in June (current month), it displays correctly, but if I set it for the July or August (next month or later), it displays one day too early. When I click on the one-day-too-early event to edit it, the date on the edit page is correct.
