I want to connect the google webmaster tool box with my site and google doesn't let me.

I tried to have google recognize the *tracking code (asynchronous) * that is located at tiki-admin.php?page=look and it doesn't

I followed all the steps shown here

In fact, you should know that my index page is not /tiki-index.php as it points to another home page (a re-director)

Does that have an influence on where google webmaster tool looks for the google authentification code?

I think it does.

So I placed the meta html google code version in the header. Except that when I look at my index source code , the *real header* where the header says:

If I need to add a google tag to connect the site with the analytic service in the header part, where or which file should I put the required google code?
