Your HTML markup was stripped from the post unfortunately; the {CODE()}{CODE} plugin should be able to display it; also, Tiki uses a # at the left margin to indicate an ordered list item, in case you're wondering where the "1."s came from. Anyway, I don't see a problem (assuming the HTML is ok) except that the "overflow: " in the first rule isn't closed with semicolon.

To simplify the test, why don't you try a simple rule, like #hpcolcontainer {background: yellow;}. Then if this works, add your CSS maybe part at time until something breaks.

So you added your CSS rules to the theme stylesheet that is being used? (Just checking.)

Right, list submissions is only for CMS articles submitted to be ok'ed for publication. For the most inclusive list of new and updated items at the site, there's a "Since your last visit" module.
