Re: HTML and Tiki problems

The images won't show up unless the addresses of the image files written in the original HTML page are updated to reflect the images' new locations. You need to find the HMTL code in the page for each image and update it to point to the place in the Tiki installation where the image files are stored.

For the CSS styling of the page, there must be a CSS file that Tiki loads (for your purposes, a "custom.css" file in the styles/theme/ directory of the theme you're using), or CSS rules input in the Look and Feel admin page's custom CSS box, that is/are recognized by the CSS selectors on the page. This could be trickier than dealing with the images. With the images, there is pretty much one correct path for an image; with CSS, there could be interference by other CSS rules used by Tiki.

CSS files aren't automatically picked up and used just because they are in a CSS folder, and anyway you don't want to just add external CSS files without knowing all the ramifications; this would probably mess up your Tiki installation pretty good. You should identify the CSS selectors (class and ids) that your HTML page uses and just add those rules and, in fact, probably only a subset of those. Before attempting this, what CSS styling does your page actually need, rather than using the styling of the rest of your Tiki installation?
