Error "'name' parameter for tikimodule missed"

I have a module on the right hand side of the page that is essentially a menu. In IE, when I am an anonomyous user, I get " 'name' parameter for tikimodule missed " as an error message, but when I log in, wither asa user or as an administrator, the error goes away. The anon group has rights to the module, and to the menu for that matter. I am using a CVS the is 1.8-rc3+a few days. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated, as I am really confused about how to fix this thing.

Thanks alot
matt

Hi matt,

You could try Admin->System Admin and erasing the cache's for modules and templates_c

Let me know how it goes

Check tiki-admin_system.php
I'm not sure when it was added, maybe you need something more recent...like 1.8 ;)

1.7.5, 1.8 and 1.9 all have it in different flavours

the the common goal between the 3 is clearing cache of templates_c and modules/cache

grr.. still confusedconfused... I don't have the script the Chealer9 referred to, and I looked under Cache (tiki-list_cache.php) and can't find it in there the ... can I just delete files from the CLI? Not afraid of doing that biggrin, i just can't figure out which ones. Also, in the long term picture, is this problem going to be fixed? or more to the point can anyone figure out why it happens?

thanks

so i grabbed tiki-admin_system.php, and emptied /templates_c, modules/cache, and temp/cache. Whn I go to the site as anon. I am still getting the same error in the module, which is : 'name' parameter for tikimodule missed : I am really confused about this and really can't fathom what is going on. I have deleted the module and re-did it, but it still comes up. does anyone have any other ideas? confused

thanks
matt

Any further advice would be appreciated.
