Can you provide some additional information:
- What Tiki version are you using?
- What is your hosting environment?
- You said that uploading txt, xls, doc files failed. What message was displayed?
- Did you turn on the Tiki error reporting? What messages are returned?
- Have you reviewed the server logs for additional details?
Can you duplicate your issue on http://demo.tiki.org? I was able to upload files of all types.
