Some things to check:
- Are any errors reported in the browser status bar?
- Did you turn on Tiki's error reporting? Were any Tiki errors displayed?
- Did you use thetiki-check to confirm that
Offhand, I'd say it sounds like a conflict with the Ajax Autoload or WYWIWYG options. Can you try disabling them and trying agian?
