automatically use user specific values between trackers | item-link / dynamic-item-link / ... ?
Hi, I have quick question:
I am developing a conference registration website.
There are two tracker
1.) a usertracker (Id1) (additional at site registration) for general personal data, reusable every year.
2.) a registration tracker (Id2) for the next conference event (current year).
I have to use the Excel export of tracker 2 to use the data for further prosessing and thus I need the 'real names' of tracker 1 to be automatically (or automagically) included into tracker 2
I am wondering, if that would be possible with item-link or dynamic-item-link, in the way, that a user who has an account ( thus one and only one item in tracker 1 ) enters a new item in tracker 2 ( aswell limited to one item per user ) gets automatically the necessary entries of the appropriate field from tracker 1 into tracker 2 obviously it would be inappropriate to need to chosse the names of a list of all existing other registrants.
In other words:
1.) a user registers to the website and gives his real name in the user tracker.
2.) the user registeres to a conference in 2015 or 2016, etc. and his real name is automatically used in the current conference registration tracker.
Any hint appreciated.
