This looks like a bug, for what you say. Can you please submit a bug report about it, and create a show.tiki.org instace, associated with it, where you can setup the scenario needed to reproduce it?
This way it may easier that some of us can have a look at it aiming to fix the bug in the scarce time available from developers attempting to fix bugs.
