welcome to the Tiki community
Organic Groups is related to a quite new concept in Tiki, as it is an AddOn.
I would consider Organic Groups as one of the really advanced features.
Further more I'd assume, that most Tiki users are not yet too much experienced in working with AddOns, which are still under development.
I will forward the link to this thread to one of the project admins who is quite much involved in Oragnic Groups and AddOns development and hope that he might find some time to have a look after your problem.
Sorry, that I cannot help out by myself at this point.
Cross fingers, that some of the other community members who are active in the forum would be more of a help than myself today.
