colspan on wiki table or fancy table

Hello,

I need a table that goes like this:

1-1 (colspan=2) 1-3 (colspan=2)
2-1 2-2 2-3 2-4
3-1 3-2 3-3 3-4

As you can see, the wiki table syntax knows how to do colspan, but for the end of the row, not in the middle of it.

1-1 should use 2 col (1-1 + 1-2)
1-2 should use 2 col (1-3 + 1-4)

Any hints ?
Bernard

Hi Bernard.

Not that I'm answering you actual question, but recently I've switched over to using actual table tags within the HTML tag. I found a few articles on doing HTML tables with css tags, and have had great success (since fancytables are parsed as table tags anyway)
