Using article as a template

Dear Community,

I'd like to create a template article that users could duplicate to create their own but cannot find any "save as" function. If I modify the template, it's overridden by the modified article, so I just loose my template.

Is there any way to do this?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks Gary!

It looks like this feature coud do the trick, but I've noticed a strange behavior when I use the template in a new article:

  • Create a new article
  • Switch to the "advanced" tab
  • Select the template
  • Tiki indicates that all changes will be lost and I have to accept the dialog box to go on.
  • Tiki displays the html code of the template as if it was the previous content, although this is a new article!

I've tried to tick/untick the "HTML" but still get the same behavior. Is it a known bug?

Thanks in advance for your support!
