WYSIWYG editor not available for normal user

Hi

I've checked and rechecked the editor/wysiwyg settings, but I can't make the WYSIWYG editor available to my normal user (in group Registered). The text editor is started when editing a page, and there's missing that pen sysmbol which would switch to the WYSIWYG editor.

The funny thing is, that it works as expected for the admin user. But not for my normal user.

I've checked the group permissions, but couldn't get it to work. I've also checked the "Settings" in "My Tiki". What am I missing?

Cheers, Volker

Hi @Volker Wysk

If it's optional and off by default you need to grant the permission tiki_p_edit_switch_mode to the groups who need it.

Your're right! I've missed that setting. I've only looked in the "wiki" section, and it's in "tiki".

Thanks!

Yes, that caught me out too, but i seem to remember the thinking was that it's for more than just wiki pages... and not just for wiki syntax even as it can do html too.
