I'm not sure what you mean by inline frame; do you mean a window within a page that displays another page? Iframes seem to be pretty well supported now, with all the major browsers recognizing them. This method is already used in Tiki for the Chat feature and as an option for viewing linked pages, etc. Currently in a wiki page you have to allow HTML to insert an iframe (inputting the code yourself); seems like a good candidate for a wiki plug-in.
