    I have 1.8.2 running on a server with a lot of customization to the templates. I updated to 1.8.4 on my home computer and made all the template changes before uploading to a new directory on the server. When I try to access it, I get blank pages.

    The update runs fine locally. I changed the local.php file on the server to reflect the server settings. I want to be able to proof the update and make sure everything works before I make it go live.

    Can you have tiki running in two folders accessing the same database?

    Yes, just use the same local.php

    Did that...copied the local.php into the new db directory.
