trunk problem: fatal Zend error when sending newsletter

posts: 829 United Kingdom

Hi - looks like there is a Zend problem in newsletter following the recent
changes as I'm getting the following in my trunk test site at r57094

Fatal error: Call to undefined method Zend\Mail\Message::clearRecipients()
in /xxxxxxxxxxxxx/lib/newsletters/nllib.php on line 1351

Hi - just resending this as I probably sent it at time everyone was
'recovering' from the excesses of the night before :-)

So just wondering if anyone else can confirm this problem and whether
there's an obvious quick fix?

There's a small update to newsletter send that I'd like to commit, that I've
checked out in Tiki12, but I obviously should check it out in trunk first
and then backport it - but this Zend problem is stopping me from doing that
and I'm guessing the fatal error is a consequence of the 'framework' upgrade
but it's not something that I think I can sort out

Cheers

Hi Geoff,

I'll have a look and get back to you, probably you are right, thank you for
spotting this.

Sorry - I should have said that the little bit of digging I did, showed that
in my Tiki12 test site 'clearRecipients' is not only in nllib.php but also
in the zf1 stuff ie

$ grep -lr 'clearRecipients' *

lib/newsletters/.svn/text-base/nllib.php.svn-base

lib/newsletters/.svn/tmp/nllib.php.tmp

lib/newsletters/nllib.php

lib/openpgp/.svn/text-base/OpenPGP_Zend_Mail.php.svn-base

lib/openpgp/OpenPGP_Zend_Mail.php

vendor/bombayworks/zendframework1/library/Zend/Mail.php

But when I did the same grep in my trunk test site I only saw this:

$ grep -lr 'clearRecipients' *

lib/newsletters/.svn/text-base/nllib.php.svn-base

lib/newsletters/nllib.php

grep: vendor/bin/zf.php: No such file or directory

grep: vendor/bin/zf.sh: No such file or directory

Not sure what the last two lines of output means? Is my trunk site not
probably built perhaps??

Cheers
