Tablesorter question

Hi Lindon (mainly) and devs,

as you are the main lead I believe in the Tablesorter integration I was
wondering if you know, where to modify JS for tablesorter.
Marc pointed out that tablesorter is a bit "wonky" when inside a
.table-responsive wrapper div
and I have realized it would be better if the width of the position:
fixed .tablesorter-sticky-wrapper.tablesorter-sticky-visible was
calculated from the parent .table-responsive width than from the table
inside so it would not appear as if it was overflowing out.
Also some code needs to be added to scroll the amount of pixels
horizontally when the horizontal scroll will be trigerred to display the
cells which are hidden behind the right edge so the headings will match
(be aligned with) the correct table cells...

But mainly I am asking, where can I modify this?

Thanks,
luci

Just a note: I was searching and grepping for it with no luck! ;)

Hi luci,

Sounds like themes/base_files/less/tablesorter-tiki.less is what you're looking for? Agree that the table-responsive class causes some issues so any help appreciated on that front.
Regards,
lindon

Thanks lindon,

but I am looking on modifying the JS part rather than LESS/CSS, because
now it gets and computes the width (which is then inserted into the
inline style="" attribute) of .tablesorter-sticky-wrapper from the
.tablesorter table above it.
I would like to modify it to compute it from the width of the parent
.table-responsive div instead.

luci

Ah, okay. I assume you mean within Tiki and not the vendor code. If so, I think lib/core/Table/Code/Other.php is probably what you need. It places standalone jQuery just before the tablesorter function code. Or use Bind.php if you need an event handler.

If the vendor code needs changing then I would suggest reporting a bug here <https://github.com/Mottie/tablesorter/issues> - the developer is usually responsive.
