I would like to share some "special" plugins that I made.

<a href="http://casainho.net/tiki-download_file.php?fileId=3">parkouraveiro.net-wikiplugins_jeroflash-11052007.tar (10.24 Kb)</a>

Flash players: http://www.jeroenwijering.com/.

This plugins, extract a XSPF playlist from a wikipage and send the playlist for the flash players biggrin razz - So, anyone can construct/edit playlists for use in flash players in wikipages biggrin

I am using this plugins in my 2 pages: http://www.ParkourAveiro.net and http://www.Casainho.net <- you can see here examples of use.

Here is a page that explains how to install and how It works: http://www.Casainho.net/tiki-index.php?page=Tikiwiki-JW%20Flash%20players

Thank you all for this great Tikiwiki santa

This is very interesting. It reminds of trying to do the same thing for Org charts http://tikiwiki.org/OrgChartDev

Back to JeroFlashImageRotator: What do you think of making it work like the random_images module? So people could add a module and it would pick randomn images from the image gallery (and if you click, it takes you to the full size image over at the image gallery)

This would be way cool!

Thanks!

m ;-)

Well, I don't know what to say.

So, the FlashImageRotator, would be used where?? in the module to make apear random images??

In Tikiwiki, Flash plugins, we just have the XSFP player, a MP3 player that uses a XSPF playlist. Also e have one more, FlowPlayer for FLV video files, which do not uses a XSPF playlist, another kind, costume playlist I think :-(

Both XSPF player(MP3) and FlowPlayer(FLV) have GPL license, I think, but JeroFlash players, have Creative Commons licenses, so I think that it will never be distributed with Tikiwiki because incompatible licenses.

Well, but a Flash Image Rotator is one thing that is missing in Tikiwiki.

Maybe in the future with AJAX technology we can have a kind of image rotator... I hope.

Also, Flash is proprietary :-( - I heard about new JavaFX technology which is Free Software :-) :-)

Casainho, remember that you can deliver your code as Tikiwiki Mod, which allows having different license than LGPL.
http://doc.tikiwiki.org/Mods

The best would be to add it as Mod to the Mods repository in cvs sourceforge.net.

Cheers, and thanks for sharing your code.

casainho,

I found the jero flash player by accident on the web. I was glad when I saw your tikiwiki plugin linked on his site. I'm in the process of installing your plugin.

By the way, I see your a Portuguese speaker. Are you from Brazil or Portugal? My Portuguese isn't good enough to tell where you're from.

casainho,

I read your instructions and installed the plugins, the php file, changed the lines, but there seems to be something I'm missing. How do I use the player in a wiki-page?

Currently I have the player installed at http://------.com/mtt/upload. If I run the mediaplayer.html file from that location, the player works fine. If I insert the same code from the html file in a wiki page, I just get the script showing. If I enter any javascript, wiki deletes it.
I also have html enabled for my wiki page.

I don't want to use an i-frame if I can help it. Is there anything I'm missing?

thanks,
Perry

It is possible to modify the php so it works on a non-wiki page. I'm considering intregrating video using the jw flv player for Wish 2 List.

The excellent image rotator, MP3 audio, and Video player are all available in AssetNow NX CMS as widgets. This means the players can be added directly in content pages or in templates using
