Mouseover Text Plugin Issues

posts: 658

Thanks to Zac I am able to once again start posting on the Tiki.org forums and I am so happy! Thanks Zac!
Now on to an issue I am experiencing. First off I backed up my Tiki pages and re-started a new Tiki with Tiki 14. The 15 was a tad buggy for obvious reasons, the gurus are hard at work on it!

But I wanted to start a production wiki now and here we are with my Tiki14.

Tiki version: 14.1 (MyISAM)
PHP Version 5.6
Website: http://thepatriotwoodwiki.org/HomePage

I hope someone can give me a hand in trying to figure this out, when a cursor is hovered over "calligrapher" the plugin displays away from the word. The plugin is formatted with defaults, I tested this in Tiki 12.4 and it worked beautifully. The box popped up directly below and to the right of the targeted text.
Please see the word "Mouseover text" colored red, in the first sentence of the section titled "Later Life", at this wiki page http://thepatriotwoodwiki.org/Playground
For a baseline of what this function is supposed to look like please see our 12.4 installation and hover your cursor over "Mouseover text". http://tpwtestuser.com/tiki/tiki-index.php

Ok, the plugin worked with defaults in 12.4, but in 14 it appears the x and y has to be adjusted. But for now I'll leave it so folks can see where the defaults land the mouseover box. I feel the default values should land the box immediately next to and down from the targeted text.

So I adjusted the xy by:

Offset x = -575

Offset y =  -125

the mouseover text box now opens nicely to the bottom. Again though, in Tiki 12.4 no adjustments were needed, the default worked nicely.

I have set the mouseover back to it's defaults in hopes someone can help me determine if this is a bug in Tiki14 or not.

Please see http://thepatriotwoodwiki.org/Playground and hover over the word "mouseover text"box to be displayed. The settings of this box are default as follows:

x = 5

y = 0

I feel the default values should place the box next to the text being used.  Any thoughts?
