Tiki on Google Cloud SFTP Permissions issue

I am struggling with something that should be simple. Used the Bitami setup from within Google cloud to auto install Tiki. All good and working. Only issue I have is the SFTP session that I have uses a key generated as part of the setup, this allows me access to the virtual server but has no rights to any of the folders in Tiki.

Specifically I am trying to upload new logos to customize the site but just can;t do it. I can upload using the SFTP session i have but can't put the files anywhere that Tiki admin console can see.

I am not a Linux expert so no idea how to update permissions etc or if that is what i should be doing.

Any advise welcome. The rest of the setup has been great just the simple uploading of a file seems difficult.

Cheers, G

I assume you're using the Tiki File Gallery for your uploads, right?

In the Admin: FIle Gallery page, you can select to store files in the File Directory (you'll need to specify a writeable directory) or Database. If your host does not allow you to have write-access, you'll need to store the files in the database.

Please see the docs for details.
