    Hi!

    I am running tikiwiki 1.8.4 on server of hostrocket.com.
    When I went to Admin->Modules and activated the module:
    forums_last_post
    (not forums_last_topic but forums_last_post)

    TikiWiki started producing ultra-high server load and the server crashed. It took the admins of hostrocket almost 24 hours to see that this was the problem.

    So, is there a way to modify something in the code to fix the bug so i can use this module?

    Hi,

    Also Image Galleries->Rebuild Thumbnails can spiral the server into a fatal crash.

    So, can the forums_last_posts thing be fixed, anyway?

    10Mb is borderline. It could be memory_limit related especially as TW forums are just overgrown comments code and not the best in the world.

    Looking at the code there is no strangeness happening in that module and it works fine on a duplicate of tw.o database on my workstation.

    The sql query is not the best
    select * from `tiki_comments`,`tiki_forums` where `object`=`forumId` and `objectType` = 'forum' order by `commentDate` desc

    Perhaps this needs to be replaced by a left join
