    Answering my own question: ;-)

    "Edit page" error solved by copying the adodb.inc.php file of the working Tiki installation (tiki1) to the non-working Tiki installation (tiki2). Seems a little silly. I must have accidentally changed something else when correcting the adodb.inc.php code in tiki2 for the adodb.inc.php error earlier.
