Can you specify shape/location of boxes?

United States

I was wondering if there was a way to specify the size of a wiki box in a page (rather than the default entire width of the middle panel), and also if there was a way to locate it either on the left or right of the panel, allowing text to wrap around it?

I'm thinking visually along the lines of something like that displayed at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Alabama.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Boxes made with wiki syntax (the carat characters) are styled by the div class="simplebox" selector and whatever properties that's given in the theme's stylesheet, usually full-width.

You can get boxes that float to the left or right using the BOX plugin:

University of Hawaii

Motto: Ma luna a?e o na lahui a pau ke ola ke kanaka

Or the DIV plugin, which also can have a float parameter.

University of Alabama
The Crimson Tide

Check out the "Show Plugins Help" link at the bottom of wiki editpages for the plugin syntax.
