disable article search function

Hello

Maybe this isn't possible, but I would like to disable the ability to search for articles. I cannot find this feature in the article admin section. maybe I am missing something obvious?

Merci tout.

Apologies:

Using version 7

I am talking about searches for articles. We have a lot of articles on our site and we don't want them to be searchable. Wiki pages should be searchable and work fine. But the search results are polluted with tons of articles.

Merci

I don't think you can filter out the articles, but you can set the default results to search only the wiki pages first.

HTH,

Dam, that's a great idea, and it works perfectly except that we use trackers heavily and need to search for those too. It's not the end of the world, just a little frustrating.

Thanks ricks99.
