address in browser

Hi there,

I've installed tikiwiki in a server that has Apache running in port 16080. My problem is that when I access to tiki page it allways appends the ":16080" after the host name, i.e. http://www.myserver.org:16080 . Anyone knows how to avoid this?

Other question is: does anyone knows how to disable "tiki-index.php" from appear in the browser address bar when using a site based on tikiwiki?

Thanks in advance for the help

cheers

Yo.

The first can be set through the admin->Login, and to remove the tiki-index you can use Apache Rewrite rules. There are some examples of Tiki rules both on this site and at http://doc.tikiwiki.org

Anyway, thanks very much for your help.
