    Currently I have been gaining more understanding of the tikiwiki software, I am not afraid to play!

    Tonite I was playing with uploading some images to the image gallery, didnt have a problem. Images uploaded fine, However on the gallery page created it states
    "__You can view this gallery's configured image (first, random, etc.) in your browser using:
    "http://www.xxxxx.org/tikiwiki/show_image.php?galleryId=5
    You can include the gallery's image in an HTML page using one of these lines:
    blah, blah to the end"__

    I understand coding theory a bit, HOW COME THE LINK don't work?. The show_image.php stuff?

    I think because you changed the CODING wording from earlier versions changed, becuase the image gallery works if I view as "http://www.xxxxx.org/tikiwiki/tiki-browse_gallery.php?galleryId=5"

    so if the coding is bad, How do you change that standard blurbage for image gallery it to make it show correctly?

    i Disagree,
    because when i click your first link, the one with browse gallery in the link, it shows some images, if you notice that the bottom of that page with all the images it states "__You can view this gallery's configured image (first, random, etc.) in your browser using:

    http://tikiwiki.org/show_image.php?galleryId=41__"

    when I click that show image gallery 41.. why is only 1 image showing? OR am I mis-understanding what this link wording means? I take it I will see all images in that gallery using that link. as that is what the page says when I was creating it and putting images in that gallery.

    I think that the issue is that the text is poorly worded.

    Instead of
    You can view this gallery's configured image (first, random, etc.) in your browser using...
    It should really be
    You can view the default image for this gallery (first, random, etc.) in your browser using...

    Is it clearer now?

    I think i understand what you saying, but I am still getting a error.. (posted later)... however i went to edit galleries on the menu and the gallery i had the picture in .. I went to "gallery image" and manually picked the only 1 image i got showing in the folder and it still gave me error (posted later). So I played it back to first image and same error. I know I think I am close to solving it. The error is:
    __The following error message was returned:

    The query was:

    select `sortorder`,`sortdirection` from `tiki_galleries` where `galleryId`=?
    Values:

    1.4
    2.o
    The built query was likely:

    select `sortorder`,`sortdirection` from `tiki_galleries` where `galleryId`='4'
    Things to check:

    1.Is your database up and running?

    2.Is your database corrupt? Please see how to repair your database

    3.Are your database credentials (username, database name, etc) accurate?

    4.Did you complete the Tiki Installer?

    Is there another way to get this item you tell me to download, the link is not working for me, its just tries to go and goes nowhere. Using 2 different browsers and it still does not work.

    Got another link for it, what is the file?
