Who is/ What is Chuck Rudolphy

I am a son, husband, father, son-in-law, uncle, retired salesperson, and a computer nerd. I have been married for 48 years. My wife and I have two wonderful, productive, children. Both are married and their respective spouses are also very wonderful people whom we love very much.

I obtained an "Associates Of Applied Science Computer Information Services Mid-Range Computing Specialist" degree in 2004. For those that aren't familiar with "Mid-Range Computing" it refers to what was at the time an IBM AS400. I believe now they have been rebranded as iSeries servers. Back then I administered an AS400 for the company I worked for. However I have not been responsible for the administration of one since 2006. From 2006 until I retired in 2020, I was a user of one but was not responsible for administering it. Now that I am retired I am going to go back to school and learn python programming. This is a hobby for me as I never want to go back to work. This is strictly for personal enrichment.

I have a "Homelab" which consists of two Dell servers each running Proxmox with various virtualized services including my installation of Tiki. I have another Dell Desktop that I use as my router running OPNsense. I have a Netgear switch and (3) TP Link Omada EAP225 APs.

I became interested in Tiki to create a knowledge base primarily for my homelab. The more I use it and learn about it the more information I record in it. I am learning the software step by step. As a need/desire arises, I get online and figure out how to accomplish what I want. I look forward to learning more.
