Experimenting with http://geoland.org/tiki for now and hope to get involved with developing/improving/fixing bugs for the project myself.
If you like the .css its under developement but you grab it here😛
(It improves on trollparty.css using also colors from matrix themes)
For Newbies:
If you want to develop your own themes trollparty.css and other that don't have templates are the easiest. Assuming you want to change a theme with no templates, I suggest you go to a section with your browser, right click and grab the code and save it in your local drive, change the path to the .css accordinlgy and start changing things and testing to see results.
Send me a message if need further help.
Just thoughts (first draft of proposing this to the team which i have not met yet, one of these days probably):

I am posting some comments here while I am trying to understand the best avenue to post requests/bugs and start tweaking the code.
The truth is there is the sourceforge bugs/requests and then there is the forums in here and then there is the wikis which I am struggling to put into some order, I get the feeling that some of the reports overlap ? (maybe I am wrong - looking into it - maybe I am just paranoid).
To this end I will propose that a person is needed in the team that tries to find a way so that all the bugs go to the eyes of the person who can fix them (I mean as soon as possible) or some kind of map on who is working on what would not heart so maybe people could assign bugs directly to developers ?
Need to make tikiwiki so that not all the parts of the page load everytime (have some idea later on I ll explain) we can start by making the edits preview not hit the server just plain old javascript with DOM inserting content into appropriate place ? right ?
Definetelly need some reorganization of the adminstrators side of view.
Some visually layout would not hurt either.
