Site Closing in TW 1.8.4
Hi,
I am using TW 1.8.3 and would like to upgrade to 1.8.4.
During tests of the installation of TW Version 1.8.4, I observed the following behaviour:
In Admin ->General preferences and settings (.../tiki-admin.php?page=general) I activated the checkbox for "Disallow access to the site (except for those with permission)" in the "General Settings" section.
As in the previous versions, a blank login-screen is displayed (.../tiki-error_simple.php?error=Site+is+closed+for+construction%3B+please+come+back+later.), if the checkbox is activated.
However, in previous versions, after inputing admin-username, admin-password and clicking the login-button, the homepage is shown after login. In Version 1.8.4, login apparently works, but the blank login-screen does not disappear and I have to input an url (e.g. .../tiki-index.php) directly to continue.
Questions:
- is this a general feature/ bug of TW 1.8.4?
- if yes: is a fix available and where?
- if no: what may be the installation problem?
