Newbie HTML link error

I tried to create a HTTP link, both in a Wiki and a Forum, back to the main Tiki site by using the following [http://tikiwiki.org/tiki-index.php] which produced the following error. Why (especially as it works here! http://tikiwiki.org/tiki-index.php )?

Paul

The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

Only one top level element is allowed in an XML document. Line 2, Position 2

<b>Warning</b>: strstr(): Empty delimiter. in <b>/home/virtual/site43/fst/var/www/html/lib/tikilib.php</b> on line <b>4174</b><br />

Because you have failed to put in Admin->General your own server URI in the configuration section

Although a little cryptic for a Tiki virgin (whats a URI?)* there was sufficient info here for me to correct the error. Thanks Damian.

  • Following added in case anybody else is as dim as I

Do not mistake URL and URI. A URI can be classified as a locator, a name, or both. The term "Uniform Resource Locator" (URL) refers to the subset of URIs that, in addition to identifying a resource, provide a means of locating the resource by describing its primary access mechanism (e.g., its network "location"). source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uniform_Resource_Identifier
