    Hi All,

    Still banging away at getting 1.9 running... I re-did the CVS install this am and I am still getting the following errors:

    I have run the setup.sh script and verified that the the user apache runs as can read and write to the directory. Then I did an ls in the directory anf saw the following:

    Is this normal? Could be why the script is upchucking...

    Delete everything within the templates_c and try again.

    HI Damian,

    Thanks for the suggestion. I followed it but still no go. I made this cache clearing script to clear out the cache directories:

    1. !/bin/bash

    rm /www/ndm-tiki/templates_c/en*.*
    rm /www/ndm-tiki/temp/cache/*.*
    rm /www/ndm-tiki/modules/cache/*.cache

    I still get the following errors in the apache log:

    Can Apache write there, does Apache have permission to cd there?

    Yes,

    I verified this by SUing into the same user account that apache runs as and then doing all of the tests:

    - mkdir testdir
    - touch somefile.txt
    - rm -d testdir
    - rm somefile.txt

    And I am sure that all of those work. So absolutely no perms problems with that directory...
