    in out project theopenidea.org we're testing a couple of systems at the moment, one of which(and my personal favourite) is your TikiWiki, however, we've encountered the following problem.

    Trying to 'discuss' a wiki page gives this error: 

    Warning: MYSQL error: DB Error: syntax error in query:
update tiki_forums set hits=hits+1 where forumId=
in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/theopenidea.org/httpdocs/tikiwiki/lib/tikilib.php on line 101

    any ideas?

    p.s. the wiki is at http://www.theopenidea.org/tikiwiki/ if anyone wants to test, and i can provide someone with admin privelidges if they'd like to check things over, the choices seem to be Plone or Tiki, and i'd love to be able to present a working Tiki.

    It would help if you tell us what kind of Tiki you are running: what version? a new install?

    it's a fresh installation of Tiki v1.7.1.1 -Eta Carinae, running on a fairly restricted host in safe mode.

    Phil,

    I switched on the 'discuss' feature on my own Tiki 1.7 and I have the same problem. I also see that URL generated by clicking on the 'discuss' is pretty malformed. There's is no forumID and some '=' are missing. I assume this must be a bug 😕

    ah, thanks, that is comforting, have you entered a bug for it(do you guys use BugZilla?) or should i?

    Is this the same as "comment"?
