    Is there any plan for making Tiki 1.9 available for live sites? I would have loved to move up to Tiki 1.8 from 1.7 but cannot because of a bug in 1.8 with the display of category titles in non-ASCII typefaces (namely Cyrillic in my case). I believe this bug was due to be fixed in 1.9, which is why I have been waiting for it.

    Now I am confused because 1.9 is still waiting to be released in a reliable version, while developers are already working on 1.10!

    Can someone explain what is happening and when if ever we can expect to see a 1.9 version?

    1.10 was created too soon as now is a dead branch of CVS

    1.9 was in feature freeze stage, but that melted and its now back to open development. With maybe a freeze starting again in the Summer.

    If you want to use 1.9 now I suggest that you try and seek a contract for support and bug fixing from a Tiki Expert unless you are PHP capable yourself.

    I have that already on a 1.8.5 😀 expanded from the code already in CVS in the Wiki-farm experimental branch

    Should be able to get the code added to 1.9 before its released.

    I'm not afraid of dev releases. I just can't seem to find 1.9rcX or 1.9DR4. The Sirius link to SourceForge from the download page does not show any files. Where can I find them or do I need to pull from cvs?
