    Our group has a Topica Listserve but I'd like to get our own listserve integrated into the Wiki so everyone goes to one place -i.e. our wiki. (BTW I'm a newbie.) I have forums setup but It does not seem that there is a way to have one area where anyone can post and everyone gets a copy e-mailed to them. We use it for regular announcements and timely info that needs to get to folks pronto.

    Tiki has an email gateway capability for forums, with which forum posts are emailed to an outside email list. You configure the forum with the information on tiki-admin_forums.php ("Forward messages to this forum to this e-mail address..." etc). An "Announcements" forum could be set up for that purpose. (The last time I tried this, though, there were some odd behaviors such as a duplicate anonymous post showing up in the forum for every real post. Maybe this has been fixed by now, though.) If the mail list isn't announce-only but two-way, the forum can also receive emailed replies and post them.
