How to link a file from Wiki Page Posted by kwow 13 Jul 2005 11:14 GMT-0000 posts: 131 Is there any way that you can reference a file in the File Gallery in a Wiki Page?? There is a plugin for doing the same for referencing an Article, but I cannot seems to find one for the File Gallery....Thanks.

[http://Your Host/Your Tiki Directory/tiki-download_file.php?fileId=X] where Your Host = Hostname or IP address Your Tiki Directory = Name of the directory where Tiki is X = File Id (You can find the ID from the Tiki Database or when your mouse pointer is over your file in the File Gallery). This is not recommended of course for many file links and it's a little...adventurous. Spyk 😎

I see this as a good way to tell someone that there is info existing in the File Gallery without having to say too much where to locate the file. I would like to listen to your point of view. Ow 😀
