server error 500

I run twiki without any problems now for one week or so. Suddenly, I get the message "server error 500" when using the user or group administration. Also, user cannot log in, only the admin. I haven't changed anything with the host server. What can I do or how can I repair?

I have 131 MB. That schould be enough. It is a hosted server by 1&1.

1&1 hosting is not capable of running TikiWiki, see TikiFriendlyHosts. They run php in CGI mode which eats up even more memory.

Sorry, but its either time to choose a different cms or a different host.

That sounds like someone changed the apache config file, or possibly the config for the security wrapper (I assume you're on a shared server)

you need to get a look at the apache logs
