    Hi all,

    Can anybody explain the real purpose of clearing cache in the System Admin menu??

    ./templates_c/ Empty (75 files / 744.99 Kb)
    ./modules/cache/ Empty (11 files / 25.16 Kb)
    ./temp/cache/ Empty (17 files / 40.70 Kb)

    When do I exactly have to clear it?? Sounds like a silly question but I hope to understand the system better.....

    In each of the cache folders are the pre-compiled smarty templates. You may find what displays is not what you expected when changing the template, language, theme etc. So in those situations you need to clear the cache's
