Creating new wiki entries

Hi,
I've been going through the TikiWiki documentation and as far as I can tell the way to create new wiki entries is by adding tags in a previous entry.
What I need for the site I'm working on somethting like a "Create new entry" button in the menu, where you wouldn't have to go back and edit an entry to create one. Instead the entries would mainly be tied together through the categories they where assoated with, but could of course also be hyperlinked like normal wiki entries.
Is this possible in TikiWiki?

Thank you,
ola

There's a "Quick edit a wiki page" module that can be displayed in a side column. Enter a new page name and the editpage comes up for entering its content. You can also use the URL "tiki-editpage.php?page=MyNewPage" with the new page name specified. It seems this URL needs the page name or else will produce an error, so I'm not sure how a nonspecific "create a new page" link or button would work.

I use a form on my Tiki to allow users to create new pages (by entering the page name) on-the-fly. It is based on the Quick Edit module that Gary refers to. Try something like this:

<form method="get" action="tiki-editpage.php">
<input type="text" size="22" name="page" value="Create new wiki page" onfocus="this.value=''" />
<input type="submit" name="quickedit" value="Go" />
</form>

You can see it in action on my TikiQuestion, although you'll need to register/login first — the create-a-page feature is only available to registered users.
