Trouble with links and page names

I am having trouble with renaming pages. I will link to a page that does not exist. If the word I linked was lowercase, then the page title shows as lowercase. If I change the page title to uppercase and go back to the original page, the link has also changed to uppercase. I can change it back to lowercase and the link remains, but going through all that is a royal pain the bum, and will get harder to undo as the wiki grows. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

Also, is there a way to link both plural and singular words to the same page? It looks a bit odd to have to stop the hyperlink before the end of the word.

WikiWords/CamelCase is turned off, and I intend to leave it that way.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Anyone? Little help?

I suppose, instead of clicking on the link question mark, you could use the 'Quick edit a wiki page' module to create the page you want to link to. This isn't quite as automatic, but if it allows the capitalization inconsistency, it'd save the renaming step. (You can also use the URL tiki-editpage?page= appended with the new page name, but of course this is more labor intensive. 😉.

Try activating "Link plural ))WikiWords(( to their singular forms" on the Admin Wiki page. I haven't checked if this also works for wiki links made with the double parentheses.

You can always create a custom description for the link:

((page name|pagenames))

Please see the Wiki Syntax Links documentationQuestion for details.
