Adding a module

I just created a very simple module (.tpl and .php) files. I would like to start using it. How can I use a user-created module and assign it to my left or right bar?
I assume I need to create a new user-module on the module admin page, but I don't know how to.

Tx.

You don't need to create a new user module, simply add your module to Tiki's list of modules:

  • Place the PHP file in ../modules.
  • Place the TPL file in ../templates/modules.

Now when you assign a new module, your custom module should appear in the list of available modules.
