How do I get and install the new little icons this page is using?

If "backporting" isn't your idea of fun, then maybe the best thing to do is wait. There will be a 1.10 version of Tiki out before too long (a few weeks to a few months), which uses the new icons. (Backporting would involve finding the places in the template files that load the icons and editing them to point to the new icons.) There is a 1.10CVS (development version) available at de.tikiwiki.org, but it may not be stable/polished enough for a live site.

Backporting wouldn't be too difficult.... If you don't want to wait for 1.10:

  1. Convert the PNG Silk Icons to GIF
  2. Rename the Silk Icon to match the exiting Tiki image name.
  3. Simply replace the existing Tiki images with the new Silk PNG/GIF images


This way you don't have to mess with any templates.
