Chealer was only suggesting that if you manage to fix the problem you were facing, it would be a good thing for you (or the other person who also solved it) to write the same in InstallTroubleshootingDoc page so it might be useful for others who, in the future, might run across this.
Is this the way you reply to someone who, even if hadn't directly helped you, told you to help others?? By saying the other person doesn't care and calling his/her reply 'retarded', I am not sure any one will be willing to come to your help in the future, lest you brand their replies retarded too.
