TikiWiki CSS Customization

I am trying to customize the CSS for my Tiki install, but unfortunately do not have access to the source files. I have tried the "Edit CSS" screens within Tiki to add / modify styles, but it does not work. Ie, the code gets changed but the modifications do not get propagated. I did this with default2.css, per the instructions.

Am I missing something?

Apparently when a user edits a CSS file with "Edit CSS," a stylesheet is made with the user's name appended, so if you edit default2.css, the edited file is named default2-nikhilodeon.css, for example. After editing, do you find a theme choice with a name like that?

I think I had to specify the username part. Don't know that it happened automatically (using 1.9.11). At the top of the edit is another box with the original filename in it that's where you can add something else to create a new file.
