Build a graphic menu

Hello.

I use 4.0 Beta 1

My questions:
1. Can I create a graphic menu with the menu builder?
1.1. With selfmade pics?
1.2. Can it be generated automaticly?

2. How can I display the menu in the head of the site instead of just on the right or left side?
2.1. Is there an easy way?
2.2. Do I have to change any .tpl? If so, wich one with what part of code? (I'm not a coder)

Thanks!

Yes, you can easily add graphics to menu items/options using the exiting Admin: Menu feature. I illustrated one possible method in my blog...

Use the Site Menu Bar feature. See the docs for details.

Hi there,

So far this is explained well (thanks!) but it works with icons.
As I read up I like also a graphic menu as a startpage to direct to the start of subsites. I have seen somewhere that one can part a picture in two or more sections and link those sections with the urls of the subdomains I use. One bigger picture seems to use less memory then several small ones, thats why I liked it.
Is this possible in tw cms and how?

Thanks in advance,
Greetings Puran.

True, true.

I still have the same problem (also Ricks99' tutorial didn't work in my installation but that's an other problem).
At least there are two of us. I still hope for help.
Thanks.
