Just use modules?

Is it possible to have a website already in use, and just take snippets of code for the modules and place them on the page to call to the different tiki thingys? Like have my regular page but say put a code snippet to the blog in one spot, a snippet to sign in in another spot, ect.. and it all works? I really want to use tiki, I am trying to learn it- but I really want to keep my current site design- I just want people to be able to sign in once to access polls, articles, ect....

Yes, but the "code snippets" would have to be made by someone with PHP coding ability, which I imagine you'd have to pay for.

An alternative would be emulating your current site design in Tiki. Again this might be something you'd have to pay for, but probably considerably less and it might be a more seamless arrangement, and I can suggest someone who could do it wink.

When you say emulate my site design- you can make it so that even when new pages are created it will carry the design right? and the tiki stuff will be where I need it?

Yes, the idea is that a Tiki theme (skin) would be made that has the same design as your current site, so would have the same background graphics, text styles and so on. The site would be configured to match that layout in terms of what features and other details are turned on or off, and existing content could be converted (re-added) as wiki pages or whatever is appropriate.
