Thanks for the suggestions. Actually, I'm not running the stable 1.7.4. I have not yet upgraded from the 1.7rc4! (Reason: it's working and I don't want to screw things up!) Would you suggest doing the upgrade to 1.7.4 before upgrading to 1.8 first? If so, is it just a matter of a backup of existing files and extracting the 1.7.4 files over the top of the existing files, or are there matters with the database as well?
