difference firefox / Internet Explorer

When using adminpanel there is significant difference between firefox and internet explorer. I have been using firefox ever since, but administrators and users will be using internet explorer.

Why are the pictures green??
Is there any way to fix this?

See attachment. Left is firefox, rightlow is internet explorer.

If I recall correctly, the boxes that those icons appear in originally had a bright green background color, so that was the mat color used when the .png icon images were made, so they would look OK in IE6, which doesn't support transparent pngs. Then the box background color was changed but the images (most of them) still have the old green color. It doesn't matter in browsers that support transparent pngs, because they see the transparency. But IE6 shows the old color. Actually the images should have been changed when the box background color was changed, but IE6 isn't a very high priority. Maybe they can be for a coming Tiki version (assuming my reasoning/remembering is correct).

Hello,

I'm having difficulty editing a page when using Microsoft IE. I've given up, my users didn't because the don't know there is a diffulty of compatibility when using Internet Explorer.

Here is an example:

When I go into "edit mode" of a page, and I want to create an external hyperlink, the highlited words show up at the top of my page half highlighted where I was working in the middle of the said page.

I suppose that users who are new will not be patient and give up.

I've updated the browser, checked the compatibility settings (it is recommended to uncheck the parameters and I did) and still I have that problem.

Would you have a solution for this pls?
