    Hi,

    I've just upgraded from Tiki 4.3 to 5.0, but the whole database content got a bit scrambled....

    For an example, look at this:

    http://list.vic-fontaine.com/article4

    All non ASCII characters have been replaced by garbage: Verfügung, möglich, Beiträge etc.

    Another page where to find something similar is this one:

    The "»" doesn't seem to come from the database.

    Any idea how to fix this?

    Try commenting out the last line in your db/local.php file (concerning character set); that is, add two forward slashes at the beginning of the line.
