Re: Simple Script Upgrade to 3.1
I know this is a late reply but maybe others can benefit from the answer.
I'm no genius here but I use Tiki and Blue Host and I've had the same problem. Blue Host's tech support guy was, as they always are, very helpful when I called today to solve the same problem.
He was not sure why but Simple Scripts had it's info wrong on what version I had. This problem has actually been around for me for a while. I'd been able to poke and prod Tiki and have managed to keep it limping along but with a few inexplicable problems.
Anyway he did this for me:
In simple scripts, choose uninstall and them hit the bottom remove button (the other one actually deletes the whole deal!) Then go back and choose install and then Import. The process deletes the files Simple Scripots has made about it's own install (doesn't actually touch any Tiki files) then it goes back and look for Tiki and updates it's own files as to what version you have.
If you blow it up doing this then call Blue Host and ask to have your account set back to the last bnackup. This resets everything in your account so you don't really want to do this unless you have to. Also the BH guy can do all this for you.
I also update the database from within Tiki to 7.0. Now I don't know if this will cause any issues the next time I update Tiki but the site's working (with a few bugs)
I'd be really interested in hearing from the Tiki wizards if this solution is proper or catastrophically dangerous.
