    What is the best way to backup a wiki? I have about 800 pages in my wiki. I just download the whole business as an .xml file. Is this a good way or is there a better way?

    and assuming the xml way is a good way, how would you restore? would you have to upload each page individually? or could you upload the whole business at once? I ask b/c I notice that when you unzip the file that is created, all the pages are separate folders.

    Sorry...shoulda been more clear. My question was more how to back up just the wiki part of tiki. I am really not so interested in backing up the entire tiki site. For the most part, I just use the wiki anyway. If my tiki site crashed, the only thing I would really need to restore is the wiki. So my question is....if I have an XML backup of my wiki pages, would that be easy enough to then import into a fresh install of tiki should that be necessary?

    You can try using the Wiki Dump feature. This should allow you to export (and then import) only the wiki pages. Please see the docs for details.
